Social Apostolate NEeds:
Our monthly food drive is the first weekend of each month. Please either place your non-perishable food donations in the bin by the St. Anthony altar in the front of the church or drop off your donation at the parish office, 4640 Canal Street, Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Thank you!
If you would like to donate to the Social Apostolate, there are a number of ways.

We are in need of volunteers, as the amount of people we serve each thursday is growing!

The St. Anthony Social Apostolate was formed to see to the needs of those who live within our parish boundaries. Our food pantry is open on Thursdays from 1:30 to 5:00 PM. The pantry is located at the parish office at 4640 Canal Street.
At times we are able to provide limited financial assistance with bills. Please come to the parish office Thursday between 1:30 and 5:00 pm with your bill and your ID which must match the name or address on the bill.
Please note that each church is only able to provide assistance to those who live within its parish boundaries. You may use this tool on the Archdiocese website to locate your parish.
If you are a parishioner in need of food, please reach out by either sending an email to sapsocialapostolate@gmail.com, or calling 504-488-2651, ext 106, and leave your name, phone number, and a brief message stating that you are a parishioner needing food assistance. You will be contacted as soon as possible. Thank you! -
